BioDrop Ltd launched BioDrop TOUCH UV/Vis spectrophotometer at ACHEMA 2012, being held at Frankfurt, Germany to extend its product line. This new next generation UV/Vis spectrophotometer is suitable for various day to day life science applications and can analyze minute volumes of samples.

BioDrop TOUCH is designed for seamless integration with the company’s BioDrop CUVETTE. The conventional standard sized cuvette holder featured in the device allows operation with both BioDrop CUVETTE as well as the conventional ones. The usage of BioDrop CUVETTES makes it possible to analyze samples less than 1 μl.

BioDrop TOUCH is an accurate and robust instrument available either as a standalone instrument with a touch screen interface or as a PC only version controlled by Resolution Life Science Software. Both the variants include a magnetic pipetting station for loading samples easily. USB connectivity allows easy PC connection, and makes it easier to export protocols and data. It also has a built in printer accessory which can be fitted for complete stand alone operations in a small footprint.  The compact size and flexible nature of BioDrop TOUCH makes it an ideal laboratory equipment for analysis of usual as well as micro-samples on a regular basis.
